Thank you so much to all staff, students, local businesses and friends of the Academy for their support during Comic Relief Challenge Week!  It has been a great week with Friday finishing off nicely since we have managed to raise over £1,000 today alone! It has been fantastic to see our students being so enthusiastic about seeing our brand new ‘RRCA Team Challenge Trophy’ which has created some very positive competition, even from the staff!

Overall Winning Team: Gelt House!

Gelt House won with a four point lead over second place team Petteril House. Third place were Irthing, follow by Year 11 in fourth, Eden in fifth and the Sixth Form in the final spot.

All teams made a great fund raising effort on Red Nose Day, and with a really big push from the Sixth Form we were able to smash through our £1250 goal and together with our Comic Relief Raffle raised a total of £1900!
