Our vision is to create a world class Academy, where our community develops, learns and achieves, where our main aim is to offer the highest quality local education, developing the whole young person to the full, so that they are ready for work in the 21st Century. We cater inclusively for all talents and abilities encouraging individual success and achievement at every level, as well as nurturing and celebrating excellence across the whole curriculum. Above all, it is a happy, caring and stimulating environment that brings out the very best in all who learn and work with us.

The Academy offers a wide range of high quality academic and vocational courses and all students have the opportunity to undertake realistic business and problem solving projects. Full use is made of the very latest technology and computing facilities are a feature of teaching in all subjects. In this way the Academy aims to offer the very best in standards, coupled with the latest facilities and teaching techniques.

Our specialisms of Science and Sports bring investment and challenge in improved facilities, all of which will enable us to provide an even better education for our students in the years to come. It is an exciting time to join our Academy.
