Year 7 Visits to New Build |

As part of a whole school project on sustainability, over a period of three days last week, Y7a and 7b were given a tour of their new Academy as an introduction to a cross curricular sustainability project. The students, along with Miss Whillis, Mrs Hairsine, Miss Robertson and Mr Scott enjoyed a tour of the new building and had an opportunity to ask question to KIER staff about the environmental impact of the new school. Students also completed workshops looking at their multiple intelligence and how these affect their learning. They began to think about how they would plan and build a sustainable school for the future. The students will be building upon this experience in their lessons.
