New Build Parents Meeting

As a new year of optimism and excitement beckons, Richard Rose Central Academy and it’s Parents’ Voice invite present and future parents to their next meeting to learn about their Academy new build at Lismore Place.

As 2009 drew to an end, it was a time to reflect on the enormous positive changes which have taken place at Richard Rose Central Academy.

Now they are back in the New Year, Richard Rose Central Academy is looking forward to a year of optimism and great excitement especially surrounding the impressive progress that is being made at its Lismore Place site where the builders confirm that the £30million Academy will be ready for occupation from 1st January 2011.

Richard Rose Central Academy works very closely with its Parents’ Voice Group where at its next meeting on Tuesday 19th January 2010 at 6pm at Edgehill Road, they are inviting all present parents, as well as potential future parents, to attend a meeting where there will be an update from Kier Construction in relation to its new build.

Parents’ Voice meet on a regular basis and raise different topics at each of their meetings – recent consultations have included a new Parent Directory; Annual Reports; Uniform; Homework; and Communication.   In November 2009, HMI Ofsted commended Richard Rose Central Academy for its communication with parents following their monitoring visit.

Denise Richardson, Director of Learning, said “We are really excited about our new build with plans already in place for occupation at Lismore Place at this time next year.  We are really impressed with the progress that is being made by the builders and look forward to our new Academy building becoming a visual reality in 2010”.

If you wish to book a place at the next Parents’ Voice meeting, please contact Denise Richardson, Director of Learning, on 01228 822060 by Friday 15th January 2010.
